Date Night!

We started off our date night with a lovely meal of Mac and Cheese,
hot dogs, and edamame.

My handsome husband just getting home from work.

Headed to go ice skating!!! SOO EXCITED!
We went to Steinberg Rink in Forest Park.

Kyle putting on his skates.. there were tons of people!

So far so good...no crashing...yet.

Kyle picked up ice skating rather quickly! He was a bit nervous, because he is not a very good roller skater... so he had his doubts.

There were so many people that we had to get off the ice so they could Zamboni the ice.
We took a hot chocolate and beer break while they fixed the rink.

Slow and steady wins the race... Kyle was much more of a dare devil ..

ALL the people..

So fun!!

Although we did have a crash... or three.. we enjoyed ice skating. It was so fun! The weather was beautiful...about 40 degrees and no wind!
We hope to go again after the Holidays when there will be less people.

An Early Christmas

Mammy and Daddy flew Kyle back to Oklahoma so he could be here for the Sexton Family Christmas. We had to do it a bit early this year, but better early than not all together! We had a great weekend...it was wonderful to spend time with our family especially our precious niece and nephew.

She is getting SO big!!

Taking a little snooze after Christmas dinner...

Our St. Louis Thanksgiving

Kyle has been in Maryland Heights working at Edward Jones. He is really enjoying everything and has learned a lot so far. Because he just started, he has not accrued any vacation days and will not until the first of the year.

So we had Thanksgiving together here in St. Louis.

I flew in on Tuesday night and will get to stay until Sunday afternoon. It has really been an adjustment living without my husband. Luckily, my brother's and their fabulous wives are letting me stay with them!

Kyle got me flowers...they are gorgeous!

The middle of the Red Velvet Cake making...
Kyle making the Green Bean Cassrole..
All done mixing things up...just waiting for everything to be done!!

It's READY! Yay!
We made a skinless turkey breast, sweet potato casserole,
green bean casserole, corn, orange salad, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls,
red velvet cake, and pumpkin cheesecake!

Kyle's friend from work joined us for Thanksgiving dinner. It was different being away from family, but we were very thankful that we are getting to spend time together!

After eating we spent the afternoon watching football and napping! It is a little chilly here, so it was a great day to cuddle up with each other and coffee! God has blessed us richly with each other, wonderful families, amazing friends, and SO much more...We are so thankful for each one of you. We hope you had a glorious Thanksgiving day!

25.

I had a most wonderful birthday week! :o) It was Fall Break week, so I only had to work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday! To start off the birthday week, Tuesday night Kyle and I went to Tulsa to have dinner with AJ and Brad. We just adore them. We went to a cute Mexican Cafe called Ole. It was great! On Wednesday, my work friends ordered in lunch for us and we had Sopapilla Cheesecake. Thursday I worked on packing up part of the apartment and then Kyle took me on my birthday date. We went to the Warren Theatre and did the Theatre for Two. It was a lot of fun! We sat in the balcony, enjoyed dinner, drinks, and dessert. My favorite part was the heated seats!! What more could you ask for while watching a movie!? On Friday, I finished up packing up the stuff we were taking to Enid and then we had my family's birthday. My parents took us to The Haunted House Restaurant. It was really neat! There is a story behind the house, and it is very authentic. It was very fitting for the time of year as well...right before Halloween. After dinner, everyone came over to our apt for cake! Saturday we got up early, packed up the U-haul and headed to Enid. We got everything to fit into Mammy and Daddy's game room quite nicely. (Thanks to my father, the engineer! :) ) We had a scrumptious lunch made by my parents and even got to take the left overs! Saturday night Toby and Sara came over and we watched a Cowboy Victory! A perfect way to end the birthday weekend! Here are some pictures from the week!

The Cunninghams!!
