Our St. Louis Thanksgiving

Kyle has been in Maryland Heights working at Edward Jones. He is really enjoying everything and has learned a lot so far. Because he just started, he has not accrued any vacation days and will not until the first of the year.

So we had Thanksgiving together here in St. Louis.

I flew in on Tuesday night and will get to stay until Sunday afternoon. It has really been an adjustment living without my husband. Luckily, my brother's and their fabulous wives are letting me stay with them!

Kyle got me flowers...they are gorgeous!

The middle of the Red Velvet Cake making...
Kyle making the Green Bean Cassrole..
All done mixing things up...just waiting for everything to be done!!

It's READY! Yay!
We made a skinless turkey breast, sweet potato casserole,
green bean casserole, corn, orange salad, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls,
red velvet cake, and pumpkin cheesecake!

Kyle's friend from work joined us for Thanksgiving dinner. It was different being away from family, but we were very thankful that we are getting to spend time together!

After eating we spent the afternoon watching football and napping! It is a little chilly here, so it was a great day to cuddle up with each other and coffee! God has blessed us richly with each other, wonderful families, amazing friends, and SO much more...We are so thankful for each one of you. We hope you had a glorious Thanksgiving day!
