Thanksgiving!

A little thanksgiving Mexican Train...

We all matched... by accident...

Cousins!

Our 1st Thanksgiving :)

Precious baby Caroline

We had a great Thanksgiving! James, MC, and Caroline came down Sunday evening and stayed with us. It was really fun getting to see them and just hang out. They headed to Enid on Monday afternoon. Nick and I went up on Tuesday when we got out of school and Kyle and Jeremy came up Wednesday after practice/work. We had a great time seeing everyone! Grandma, Herb, Craig, Lisa, and the boys all got to Enid Wednesday night.

Friday, the Teffts and I headed down to Dallas to watch kyle play in a tournament. The most exciting part was almost getting a technical for being too rowdy. (That has never happened before!) It was fun getting to spend time Kelcy...we are ready for her to be back for good!

We have such wonderful families... we are so blessed!

Margarita Ball 2008

Megan, Erica, and I
He looked good in the vest... I think it looked better on than off... hehe!

Patrick, Erica, Kyle, and I with our toys on our way down to the ball.

We went to Dallas this weekend to go to the Margarita Ball. It is a charity fundraiser for children....we had to bring toys. It was awesome to see all the gifts! We enjoyed a fun night with dancing, singing, margaritas, and friends! The ball was at the Sheraton downtown. The bottom level was the casino area, the 2nd floor was the dance floor with the margarita fountains, and the top floor was a jazz and cigar lounge.

Sunday afternoon we had lunch with Zip, Brad, Molly and Don. It was so fun to see them!

SAC Player of the Week!!

Kyle is so much fun to watch... :)

Tefft named SAC Player of the Week

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (Nov. 17, 2008) – Oklahoma Christian senior Kyle Tefft is the Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 10-16. Tefft helped the Eagles to two wins on the week as OC improved to 4-0 on the season. The 6-4 guard started the week by breaking his own school record with eight steals in the Eagles’ 91-46 win over Hillsdale Baptist (Okla.) on Nov. 10. Tefft scored 20 points on 5-of-5 three-point shooting in the victory. Tefft set the old record with seven steals against Texas College last season. Tefft then posted 12 points and nine rebounds in OC’s 73-63 win at Langston (Okla.) on Nov. 11.

Tefft was an All-SAC third-team selection in 2007-08 where he averaged 15 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. He is a two-time Academic All-SAC pick as a biology major. The Enid, Okla., product was an all-stater at Chisholm High School.

Halloween Weekend

Kyle, me, Haley, and Jared
Haley and I were flappers and the boys were "The Mafia."

Kyle and I (and Kyle's SICK mustache)

The Girls

The Boys... Kyle, Patrick, and Jared

Everyone!

Well, I was hoping for trick or treaters, but we had NONE! Kyle told me that would be the case...especially since we live in an apartment. None the less, I had candy and was prepared... other than that we had a great Halloween weekend! Jeremy's birthday was on Sunday so we celebrated with him on Saturday at TGIFridays. It was really good. After lunch, everyone came back to our apartment for angel food cake. Kyle had a basketball game, so he didn't get to enjoy it like the rest of us. Mammy, Daddy, Nick, and I all went to Kyle's game. Jeremy and Heather had a Halloween party that evening so they had last minute costume needs and preparations to do. Kyle played really well. OC won against Park, MO. OC's team looks like they are going to be much more aggressive and athletic this year, so it should be lots of fun to watch!
Tuesday evening OC played NCAA Division 2 team UCO. They lost by two points....HOWEVER, Kyle had 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 steals. He played awesome. It was a lot of fun to watch! They have homecoming tomorrow. They will be playing Texas Wesleyan... and will hopefully come out with a win. :)

A Great Weekend!

Singing with the band!
... don't think Kyle was enjoying the dance moves...
my bestie!

Kyle and I went to the Red Shoe Gala with our friends, Jared and Haley on Friday evening. We had an awesome time! We headed down to the Skirvin about 6:30 and had cocktails while browsing the silent auction tables. The dinner was delicious! After dinner and the live auction, we enjoyed ourselves on the dance floor. Since it was my birthday, the band was kind enough to let me sing with them. So... it was quite humorous attempting to sing the song Gloria...especially since I was unsure of the words! On Saturday, my parents came to town for lunch and cake! We (us, parents, and Jeremy, Heather, and Nick) went to Bravo! and it was great...the service was a little slow, but the food was good. After, we came back to our apartment for angel food cake, strawberries, whipped cream, and ice cream! It was glorious! We enjoyed Sunday school and church and then I took a nice long nap while kyle wrote a paper and watched football... Overall, an amazing weekend!

The first post...

...Well after looking at Brother and MC's blog and reading Zip and Brad's blog, I decided that Kyle I should have one. I mean we have no dog or children yet, so I don't feel like you should have high expectations... However, I decided to give it a try... It's FALL BREAK! Yay!! Well, we have made it 9 weeks through the school year, and I am up to 24 little ones. We are a very sweet, smart bunch! Kyle came up for applesauce yesterday...he had on his suit... and one of my little ones said, "Mr. Tefft, you look like a working man!" It was pretty funny. My class loves him....Kyle's basketball season starts November 1st, so practice is starting to pick up. Today they are taking pictures for the programs...Thankfully, Kyle's hair has grown out some since the clippers incident...We are going to carve pumpkins tomorrow for my birthday and then go to the Warren Theatre. It's the theatre that has the balancy seats-so it should be fun! My parents are going to come down on Satuday for dinner...should be a great weekend!
